Multiple Week Stays

Students can stay for multiple weeks and those staying for two weeks or more have weekend activities as usual over the weekend, and will also include a full day excursion at the weekend, all included in the weekly price. For students attending CMA Carlingford Lough and CMA Cistercian, transport will be provided between camps, included in the weekly price.

CMA Carlingford Lough (6 nights): €859

Sample Schedule

STEAM workshops in the morning from 10-1 after breakfast (9 am), followed by lunch at 2pm. Adventure Sports will take place every afternoon. Phone time is at 5pm and evening meal is at 6pm. There is a mix of workshops, adventure challenges and organised social events such as Karaoke and Camp Fire in the evenings. Supper is at 9pm, team challenges and multi sport from 9.30-10pm. Social time (supervised) in the games rooms and common rooms from 10 to 10.30. Students retire to the dorms at 10.30pm and lights go out at 11. There is a staff member on duty every night.

Carlingford Lough

CMA Carlingford is located in the historic town of Carlingford, with the Cooley Mountains as a backdrop and Carlingford Castle sitting on the shores of Carlingford Lough. Water Sports take place on Carlingford Lough from the main pier where the Boathouse is located, while the High Ropes and Zip Line adventure activities take place at the Sky Park and the combat and target adventure sports take place on the mountain side overlooking Carlingford. Accommodation Centre is located in the heart of the historic town.

Groups

In 2023 all of our summer camps were sold out with individual bookings and we have increased our capacity in 2024 to accommodate group bookings. We operate a Flexi Transfer system where groups can customise their arrival and departure dates.

STEAM Activities

The usual mix of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths workshops will take place every day.

Registration at 7pm Sunday evening. Departure at 1pm on Saturday with a presentation for parents at 12.30pm. Drop Off point on Sundays is at the car park in front of the arch. The exact location will be sent to parents.
