Students were again greeted with beautiful warm sunshine this morning.
Breakfast was served at 8 in the Library.
Our amazing hosts, Sister Máire and the Benedictine nuns at Kylemore Abbey have been incredible, continuing their great tradition of education. Josie, who looks after all of us, from students to staff here at the Abbey, had the library looking lovely this morning for Breakfast, as always.
The sun was blazing down on beautiful Connemara…
Students had a packed day from looking at the fascinating relationship between trigonometry and music, to creative writing to Pascal’s triangle with our wonderful teachers guiding them along. Here are some of the students discovering Pascal’s Triangle:
Students also had a game of Tag Rugby and football on the Astro turf this afternoon to help get some of that much needed oxygen to the brain!
Following sessions in 3D Animation with Lisa, students had a creative session with Ray in their endeavours to come up with an idea for the film they are to produce tomorrow.
Tomorrow students will have another packed day with 3D Animation, Film Techniques, Trigonometry culminating in a workshop where they will build their own one string guitar with an electronic pick up which they will use in a performance on the final Sunday 29th.
Did I forget to mention they’re also going to Killary Adventure Centre? Kayaking and High Ropes and the GoPro cameras….what a treat they’re in for!
